THE TRUTH ABOUT COLON CLEANSING

August 7th, 2009 by Jon David under Colon Cleanse and Weight Loss, Colon Diet. No Comments.

Anyone that says that you will absolutely lose weight just by colon cleansing is just out to take your money. However, if combine certain colon cleansing products with diet and exercise you will see a dramatic change, which I discuss below.

You shouldn’t believe those companies that claim to be endorsed by Oprah Winfrey. Oprah hasn’t endorsed any a specific colon cleansing product. She has merely discussed it on her show. Fly by night scam artists will tell you that colon cleansing will enhance sexual desire, cure cancer, or stop male pattern baldness. These are lies. Colon Cleansing does not do this. And it’s not supposed to.

Many of these fly by night scam artists will tell you that colon cleansing will enhance sexual desire, cure cancer, or stop male pattern baldness. These are lies. Colon Cleansing does not do this. And it’s not supposed to.

Definitely insist upon and only use an all-natural supplement that cleanses your colon and detoxifies your body without harmful chemicals. This can help you lose weight; maintain your health and clear toxins from your body.

You should insist upon and only use an all-natural supplement that cleanses your colon and detoxifies your body without harmful chemicals. This can help you lose weight; maintain your health and clear toxins from your body.

As I mentioned earlier, studies have been performed that demonstrate remarkable weight loss when a high quality colon cleanse product is combined with diet and exercise. In one such clinical study, a group of individuals were divided into Test Group A and Test Group B. Both groups were instructed to diet and exercise according to a strict regimen during an 8 week period. However, Group A was given a high quality colon cleanse product for the duration of the study.

Guess what happened? Group A’s average weight loss was 14.99 pounds. And Group B? They only lost an average of 3.2 pounds during the 8 week period. That means Group A lost 468% more weight than Group B. Each person in Group A lost about .25 pounds per day because they were taking a high quality colon cleanse product. That’s 1 pound every 4 days! Can you imagine dropping that much weight just by taking a healthy supplement?

The type of ingredients that you should look for in high quality colon cleansing product include Andrographis Paniculata, ashwagandha, basil, cascara sagrada, cinnamon, citrus aurantinum extract, fennel, fenugreek, ginger, green tea extract, milk thistle, oregano, psyllium, thyme and turmeric.

GETTING A NATURAL COLON CLEANSING TREATMENT

August 6th, 2009 by Davion Wong under Colon Cleansing, Colon Diet. No Comments.

If you are looking for a great way to ward off diseases and stay healthy, a natural colon cleansing treatment is one that is worth considering. The colon as you must know has a very important role, and that is to remove toxins from your body.

Normally, the colon should be able to filter out the toxins that get inside the human body, but there are times when it just cannot be able to do that. The toxins then accumulate in the colon, eventually clogging the colon. When the colon is clogged, a number of health concerns, such as bloating, nausea, vomiting, and headaches, arise.

Actually, these signs and symptoms may not exactly signal a medical emergency, but they should not be taken for granted either. The moment you begin to feel ill, consider detoxifying your colon. Thankfully, you can have so many options when it comes to natural treatment for colon diseases.

One natural approach to detoxify the colon is to embark on a colon cleansing diet. Yes, there is a specific diet composed of herbs that help to flush away the toxins from your colon. You can ask a dietitian to help map out a dietary plan for you in this case.

Fasting is another form of colon cleanse. By fasting, it means that you are not supposed to take in any solid foods to give your colon time to heal for one to two days. However, you must get the clearance of your doctor first prior to fasting because there are certain medical conditions wherein performing a colon treatment is prohibited or not recommended.

There are other ways you can have your colon cleansed, too. If you want it professionally done, then you can go to a hospital, but then this can be expensive, and the experience can certainly be humiliating. Alternatively, you can have an enema right in your own home. Performing an enema is not as complicated as you may think, so long as you know how to do the techniques well and are conscious about cleanliness and privacy.

While the mode of colon cleansing treatment may be an issue to certain people, nobody can argue with the fact that having your colon cleansed regularly is an absolute must. Colon cleansing can prevent a number of diseases and treat a wide range of ailments. It strengthens the immune system, flushes out toxins, and gives your body the ability to better absorb essential vitamins and other nutrients.

All things considered, a natural colon cleansing treatment is your very key to good health.

WEIGHT LOSS: THE BEST WAY TO GET IT

August 4th, 2009 by Wan Mohd Hirwani Wan Hussain under Colon Cleanse and Weight Loss, Colon Diet. No Comments.

The overall weight of a proportion of Western countries citizens may be rising significantly but the pursuit of health and fitness products and programs seems to be following suit. This may be because we are bombarded with images of men and women who are attractive and obviously very fit, that make us feel a little inadequate. Consequently gyms, health spas, fitness clubs and equipment manufacturers are all doing very well with what everyone hopes is not just another fashion.

It is not as if you can get away from it as the advertising for diet and fitness equipment is also on the television as well. But on the flip side of that coin is the importance of heating healthily and maintaining a weight to suit our size and shape. Our diet and our fitness are two halves of the same coin and need to be worked together as it is the food we consume that will determine how quickly we can repair cells and tired parts of our body. What does not help the average person is what diet-fitness regime to follow as both seem to make sense; there is the one that says eat foods with high carbohydrate levels and the other which says you need to eat foods with a high fat content which appears to contradict everything we are told about dieting.

What makes this confusing for the amateur is that one side says that you are better of eating foods high in fat when you exercise and the others state you need to eat foods that are a good source of carbohydrates. The high-carb enthusiasts say that we need these sorts of foods because the glucose (or energy) is stored in the muscles and liver in the form of glycogen which is great for short burst of energy or any type of anaerobic exercise.

Fats, on the other hand, are well-known for being the richest source of calories and fat actually contains 2. However, whichever diet you use may depend on the type of activity you perform as well but the two diets are not to be mixed up unless you want to add extra pounds to your body mass.

The main factor to consider is that if you are just following a diet and fitness lifestyle then the last thing you want is too add extra pounds of unwanted fat. Research shows that sustainable loss of weight can only be achieved on a diet which suits the individual food preferences, lifestyle and medical profile.

Part of a healthy diet is a colon cleanse diet.  There are many types of recipes and diets out there, but, as with a weight loss diet, consists of raw fruits and vegetables and lots of liquids.  Colon cleansing diets are designed to expel harmful toxins and chemicals from the body, resulting in weight loss, increased energy, and a stronger immune system.

Diet programs all over can help you shed off excess pounds, but only one diet can help you stay sexy, and it is the one that satisfies you most but other important aspects of having a fit diet are moderation, balance and variation. Having made that point, it is only fair to say that as part of a healthy diet, certain vitamins and other nutrients essential for good health must still be taken if the body wants to remain strong.

EATING HEALTHY HAS NEVER BEEN EASIER!

August 4th, 2009 by Marilou Lissandrello under Colon Cleanse and Weight Loss, Colon Diet. No Comments.

Eating healthy does not have to be complicated nor difficult. After you begin making healthy choices, and make it a habit, you don’t have to think about it again. Just have healthy food choices always available and the decision will be easy.

When considering a meal or a snack, always strive for a proper balance between a protein, carbohydrate and fat.

Have you determined for yourself your daily caloric consumption needs? I know that for myself if I’m trying to lose wight, I cannot consume more than 1200 calories per day. On the other hand, if I’m trying to maintain my current weight, I’m allow to consumer 1500 calories per day.

After you determine how many calories you should be consuming, you then need to divide the calories out over 5-6 small meals/snacks throughout the day. Don’t forget to compliment each meal/snack with the proper balance of protein, carbohydrates, and fats. I will give you an example of these choices to make during the day.

I like to take a minute and quickly mention something about portion sizes. Do you know what a serving of meat looks like? No, it’s not the 12 ounce Ribeye at your local steak house. A protein of meat is 3 ounces, the size of a woman’s palm.

VISUAL EXAMPLES OF DIFFERENT FOOD PORTIONS:

* 1 medium fruit — tennis ball or tight fist

* 1/2 cup of rice, pasta, cooked cereal, fruit, or veggie — cupcake size or tight fist

* 1 cup of salad — the amount you can hold in two hands cupped together.

* 1 medium baked potato — computer mouse

* 1 cup of cold cereal — large handful or tight fist

* 3 ounces of fish, meat or poultry — deck of cards or a palm of a woman’s hand

* 1 ounce of cheese — top half of your thumb or 4 dice

* 1 ounce of fish, meat, chicken or poultry — 1 egg

* 1 tsp — the tip of a medium-framed woman’s thumb. 3 tsp is equal to 1 tbsp

BREAKFAST:

It is important to start the day with a good breakfast. A good breakfast is needed to maintain level blood sugars throughout the morning. Try to keep breakfast, lunch, and dinner at the same calorie count and then add two to three snacks between meals to make up the 5-6 recommended meals.

Choose an item from each of the food groups for a healthy balanced breakfast.

Protein: 1 cup low fat yogurt, 1 oz of low fat cheese, 1 cup nonfat milk, 1 hard boiled egg

Carbohydrate: 1 slice of whole grain toast, bagel or muffin, 1/2 cup of whole grain cereal or oatmeal, or granola bar.

Fruit: 3/4 cup of raspberries, strawberries, blueberries, 1/2 banana, small apple, orange, grapefruit,

LUNCH AND DINNER:

Preparing lunch and dinner is very simple. Pick a lean protein, add some vegetables and top it off with some fruit for dessert.

Choose an item from each of the food groups for a healthy balanced lunch or dinner.

Protein: Lean beef, pork, beans, chicken, fish, turkey, etc.

Vegetable: Cauliflower, green beans, spinach, zucchini, broccoli, and salad greens, etc. For a serving size, fill about 1/2 of your plate with vegetables, 1/4 of your plate with healthy carbohydrates, and the other quarter with a lean protein.

Carbohydrate: Brown rice, corn, sweet potatoes, white potatoes, 1 slice of whole grain bread etc.

Dessert: Pear, apple, 1/2 banana, 1/2 cup of strawberries or raspberries with a dollop of nonfat whipped topping.

SNACKS:

Snacks between meals are what make or break the weight loss. You need to maintain your metabolism in between meals so that you continue to burn calories throughout the day. For your snack, consume between 100 to 125 calories.

Choose an item from each of the food groups for a healthy balanced snack.

Protein: 1 oz. low sodium, low fat luncheon meat, low fat string cheese, hard boiled egg, small yogurt cup, 1/4 cup of low fat cottage cheese.

Carbohydrate: 1 slice of whole grain bread, 1/2 banana, apple, grapes, plum, baby carrots, etc.

Healthy fats: 2 tbsp of peanut butter, handful of almonds, walnuts cashews or mixed nuts, 1 slice of avocado.

Doesn’t this sound easy? These are just guidelines for healthy foods. You do not have to eat the same thing every day. There are so many more foods then what I listed here but be creative. Try a new fruit and vegetable every week. Remember, this is easy!
