IS IT DANGEROUS TO DO A COLON CLEANSE?

With the availability of fast food joints and packaged food, we put a lot of stress on our bodies. And this is why doing a colon cleanse is so important. What happens to your body when you eat too much junk? Well, carcinogens and toxins from the chemicals used to preserve foods start to build up in your body over time. And these toxins could very well cause multiply problems such as skin problems, bowel movements that are irregular and possibly cancer.
This can be frightening. But, you do have some options you can consider right now. You can do a detox program in the comfort of your own home to lead you to a healthier life.
One of the most important things to do is to change your current diet. If you are not eating enough fruits and vegetables – and you know if you are or not – then start adding in more helpings per day of fresh veggies and delicious fruits. They are natural detoxers.
There are toxins found, that result from chemicals used in preserving packaged and processed foods, in small quantities, but over time, these toxins build up and help produce a nasty sludge that gets trapped in your colon. You can imagine that this is not natural and can cause many problems for you as you age. Adding more fruits, grains and vegetables into your diet will help cleanse your colon.
I can not stress enough the importance of drinking enough water each day. You’ve heard it before, 8 glasses a day. That may seem like more than you can do, but I assure you, you can work up to that and it won’t seem difficult. The results are a natural way to wash out the sludge that’s been building for years in your colon.
If you are like me, then you may feel unsure as to what happens to you when you begin a colon cleansing regime. I’ve included some points to consider to help you understand the process.
1. I’ve heard I’ll get diarrhea when I start a colon cleansing project. Is that true? It’s important to read all the directions found on the packaging of any detox plan you might buy. Yes, diarrhea could be part of the colon cleansing program, so it’s vital that you know when to expect this to happen so you aren’t caught somewhere you don’t want to be needing to use the facilities.
2. Stick with the plan. You won’t get the benefits of a colon cleanse right away. It takes time. That is why it’s important to stay on the plan for the length of time specified. If you have never done a colon cleansing program before, you probably have hardened sludge that has been building up over the years and this takes a while to dislodge.
3. How do I know which colon cleansing program to use? There are so many different detox products out there on the market and it can be confusing to know what is the right one for you. Keep in mind that if you’ve never done a colon cleansing program than you will probably need a product or program that is a little stronger. Read through all the materials and call the company’s support to ask questions to determine what is the correct plan for you
Everyone is different. If you’ve never, ever done a colon cleanse before, then you might want to go with one of the stronger products to cut through the build up of waste and sludge in your system. And check with your doctor before you begin any kind of colon cleansing program.
You want to make sure you care for your body the best that you can. Doing a colon cleanse is a way to show the only body you have how much you love and respect it. It’s never too late to start cleansing your colon!
